The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has announced the selection criteria for Wave 10 of the e-Invoicing “Integration Phase.” This strategic move marks a significant step towards a more digitally inclusive business landscape.

ZATCA Targets Businesses for E-Invoicing: A Gradual Embrace

The Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has outlined the selection criteria for Wave 10 of e-Invoicing. This phase will focus on businesses with VAT-related revenue exceeding 25 million Saudi Riyals in fiscal years 2022 or 2023.

ZATCA Smooths the Path for E-Invoicing Compliance

To ensure a smooth transition for businesses selected in Wave 10, the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has taken a proactive step. Starting October 1st, 2024, all targeted taxpayers will receive notifications to integrate their e-Invoicing systems with the FATOORA Platform. This advance notice provides ample time for businesses to prepare and adjust their invoicing solutions to meet the new standards.
