Turkey Tax Procedure Law Communiqué 563:
Inflation Adjustment Exemption

The General Communiqué on the Tax Procedure Law (No. 563), prepared by the Revenue Administration, contains an important regulation. The communiqué will apply to the second and third provisional tax periods of 2024. The regulation exempts taxpayers with total gross sales below 50,000,000 TL in their income statement as of December 31, 2023, from the obligation to make inflation adjustments.

Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı tarafından hazırlanan Vergi Usul Kanunu Genel Tebliği (Sıra No: 563), önemli bir düzenlemeyi içermektedir. Tebliğ, 2024 yılının ikinci ve üçüncü geçici vergi dönemlerinde geçerli olacak. Düzenleme, 31 Aralık 2023 tarihli gelir tablosunda brüt satışları 50.000.000 TL’nin altında olan mükellefleri enflasyon düzeltmesi yapma yükümlülüğünden muaf tutmaktadır.
