Poland: Open Testing of the KSeF 2.0
Taxpayer Application Begins

As of 3 November 2025, Poland’s Ministry of Finance has launched the public testing environment for the new KSeF 2.0 Taxpayer Application (Aplikacja Podatnika).

The test version mirrors the core functionality of the production release scheduled for 1 February 2026. Actions performed in the testing environment carry no legal effect, and users can report issues through the official KSeF feedback form.

Scope and Purpose

The KSeF 2.0 Taxpayer Application is a free government tool for issuing and receiving invoices compliant with Poland’s National e-Invoicing System (KSeF).

It serves as an alternative to private invoicing software integrated with the KSeF 2.0 API, allowing users to:

  • Issue, receive, and review invoices and corrections compliant with FA(3),
  • Search and download invoices in XML, HTML, or PDF formats,
  • Manage sub-entities, VAT groups, and complex identifiers,
  • Use QR codes, tokens (until Dec 31, 2026), offline invoices,
  • Generate and visualize PEF invoices,
  • Manage permissions and certificates.

Testing Process and Technical Details

  • Connected directly to the KSeF 2.0 integration API environment.
  • Users can perform unlimited testing with fictional data; all records are periodically deleted.
  • Certificate and permission requests made in testing are purely simulated and do not affect production data.
  • The certificates and permissions module in the test app operates independently from the MCU module made production-ready on 1 November 2025.
