POLAND: National e-Invoice System (KSeF)
Officially Launched

The Polish Ministry of Finance has announced that the National e-Invoice System (KSeF 2.0) was launched on February 1st as scheduled, operating efficiently and without technical disruptions. Since the midnight rollout, the system has already processed over 50,000 invoices.

A Milestone for the Digital Economy

Andrzej Domański, Minister of Finance and Economy, hailed the launch as a significant milestone for the country. “Digital document flow is becoming a standard, increasing security and streamlining the daily operations of companies. The National e-Invoice System is a significant step in the process of digitizing tax settlements,” Domański stated.

Phase-In and User Statistics

The mandatory rollout began with large-scale businesses whose sales value exceeded PLN 200 million in 2024. By February 1st, 2026, the system is expected to encompass all business entities across Poland.

Marcin Łoboda, Head of the National Tax Administration, provided early performance metrics:

  • Over 50,000 invoices received since launch.
  • Approximately 320,000 users logged into the portal.
  • The Ministry emphasized that no penalties will be imposed for the incorrect application of KSeF throughout 2026 to allow for a smooth transition.

Initial data confirms that the system is operating stably and in line with its intended purpose, marking a new era for tax transparency in Poland.
