
Hungary Publishes Technical API Specifications
for DAC9 Reporting
Hungary’s National Tax and Customs Administration has released the technical API specifications for DAC9 reporting related to the global minimum tax, outlining the structural framework required for the electronic submission of the GloBE Information Return (GIR).
The initial submission deadline for the GIR has been set as 30 June 2026. The published documentation covers mandatory data structuring requirements, security and authentication standards, communication protocols, and the end-to-end submission workflow. The specifications are available on NAV’s GitHub platform in both Hungarian and English.
