Cambodia Launches CamInvoice
E-Invoicing Platform

Cambodia has introduced CamInvoice, a centralized e-invoicing system requiring all electronic invoices to be validated by the tax authority before becoming legally valid. The platform enables real-time tax oversight, enhances invoice traceability, and strengthens anti-evasion efforts.

Implementation Timeline

• 2024: Pilot launch for B2G
• 2025: Mandatory for national-level B2G, voluntary B2B
• 2026–2027: Gradual expansion to all B2G and B2B entities
• Future: Planned rollout to B2C

Technical RequirementsInvoices must follow UBL XML format and include key data fields, tax details, and a verified QR code. Both tax and commercial invoices, as well as credit/debit notes, are supported.
